Livingstone Basic School receives
Italian visitors.
The founders of Africa’s Child Safaris,
Quinton and Abby Conroy are proud to announce that they are members
of the Italian Non-profit organization, Graffiti Open World. Graffiti
Open World has been involved in providing on-going material support
to five different schools in the Southern African region over the last
five years.
Livingstone Basic School in Livingstone,
Zambia has now joined the group of schools that enjoy support from Graffiti
Open World. Tour groups that are on the Amacizia Tour (Friendship Tour)
from Italy will visit the school to interact with the children and teachers.
The first group of tourists visited
the school and the excited children on Saturday 11th July
2009. They brought some much needed equipment for the school and spent
time with the children. This is the first of many planned tour groups
that will visit the school and provide much needed financial support
that will be used initially to build at least two additional classrooms
and purchase around 200 school desks.
We at Africa’s Child Safaris look
forward to playing an ever increasing role in the development of these
young people in the future.

tourism and educational projects that are planned for the future.
School equipment delivery.
On the 27th March 2009 Quinton
and Abby Conroy, founders of Africa’s Child Safaris travelled
to Livingstone in Zambia to deliver a parcel of much needed learning
materials to the principal, teachers and pupils of Livingstone Basic
School.
This delivery was made possible through
the immense generosity of two kind people from Germany namely Berni
& Marion Weiss. This is one of several parcels containing learning
materials that Berni and Marion have sent to Africa’s Child Safaris
for distribution since they toured through Southern Africa with Quinton
and Abby as their “crew” on a camping safari in 2006. We thank you
Berni & Marion, for your continued support. The people of Africa
appreciate your generosity.
We were very fortunate to be accompanied
on this trip by Mr Ettore Sansoni and his daughter Valeria from Rome
in Italy. Mr Sansoni and his organization, Graffiti Open World have
already adopted a number of schools in Southern Africa and they provide
much needed ongoing support for the schools and the youth of Africa.
We hope that we will be able to continue with similar support to the
communities of Livingstone, and Zambia as a whole through close collaboration
between Graffiti Open World and Africa’s Child Safaris.
Africa’s Child Safaris have reduced
the price of the Community Aid Safari
that is in support of the children at Livingstone Basic School.
This is a limited offer, for a 15% discount off the quoted safari price
and it is valid for all confirmed bookings made directly with Africa’s
Child Safaris till 30th June 2009.
