We begin the day at the Rhodes Memorial on the slopes of Table Mountain to learn more about the English influence on South Africa .
We continue to Rust en Vrede wine estate nestled below the Stellenbosch mountains for a cellar tour and wine tasting.
The tour continues to Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa for a short tour around this historical town and you can learn more about the Dutch influence on South Africa 's early development.
We continue over the Jonkershoek mountains through the village of Pniel to our next wine tasting at La Motte wine estate in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley .
We stop in Franschhoek for lunch and a walk around the Huguenot Monument in honour of the French Huguenots who settled here in 1688.
After lunch we continue the tour to Paarl, the home of the Afrikaans language. We visit the Afrikaans language monument and learn about South Africa 's home grown language.
We continue to Fairview Wine Estate for a last wine tasting and shop from a delectable array of goat's milk cheese on offer.
17:00 We arrive in Cape Town and return you to your hotel.
