Why? This is a very valid question. There are many people from the developed countries of the world that are making large monthly monetary contributions to various aid organizations and projects operating in the third world countries. Yet, all too often we see reports in the world press of the hunger and suffering of the local people while the “project leaders” arrive in their latest model, luxury, state of the art, 4x4 motor vehicle that has been bought by the “Aid” organization.

Through our Community Aid Safari you may make your personal contribution, and gather funds from your friends and associates for a worthy cause AND you will deliver your contribution personally thus ensuring that 100% of your contribution will reach the people for whom it is intended! The bonus for you is that you get to meet and interact on a very personal level with the amazingly friendly and grateful African people.

What can you do?

The Community Aid Safari is a unique accommodated African Safari experience that will appeal to you, the conscientious traveller, who has a desire to experience African nature, wildlife and culture, yet you have a keen social conscience and you are interested in helping a community that faces particular challenges in education and healthcare, especially as a direct result of the AIDS Pandemic.

Typically, You will enjoy an amazing twelve day cultural, nature and wildlife safari that takes in all the fantastic and popular tourist attractions of the region.

As a participant on this Safari;

• We suggest that you call on ten friends and ask them to contribute the cost of one family dinner at their favourite restaurant for a majestic cause. Send the money to Africa’s Child Safaris so that we may purchase School books and / or medical equipment for the chosen community on our safari route. It is that easy!
• What makes this Safari unique is that the books and / or medical equipment will be purchased in advance and we take it along on our Safari so that you may deliver it yourself and ensure that 100% of your contribution ends where it is meant to be.
• You will meet the wonderful African people and experience their endless gratitude and the memory of their happy smiling faces will remain with you forever!
• When we reach the community, YOU will have the honour and extreme pleasure of delivering your contribution to the community members in person, and you get to spend a few days with the community to interact and make new friends.
• Your participation in the Community Aid Safari may help a child to complete his/her basic education AND your participation may be enough to prevent any of these young children from having to resort to PROSTITUTION in order to survive, or to get some sort of education.

This is an experience that could, and probably will, stay fresh in your memory for ever. Establish long lasting personal links with the community that will be a source of great inspiration to you for a very long time. Establish links between your community and the African community so that you may play a pivotal role in the development of some of these wonderful people for many years to come.

The Community Aid Safari is arranged to benefit communities around Southern Africa and each safari will target a different community each with their own urgent needs that your participation may be able to alleviate.
