We follow the Atlantic Coastline with grand views of the Twelve Apostles to the fishing and recreational harbour of Hout Bay to board a glass bottomed boat in Hout Bay Harbour for a magical 45 minute boat trip to meet the first of the Cape residents.

Our boat trip takes us out of the harbour into the sheltered bay and on to the rocky outcrop of Duiker Island that is home to a large colony of Cape Fur Seals and a variety of Cormorant and other sea bird species.

During the months of June to November we may be fortunate to view, at close range, numerous Southern Right Whales lolling around the bay.

From Hout Bay we follow the beautiful and dramatic Chapman’s Peak Drive

Enjoy the stunning views from Chapman’s Peak Drive, an engineering marvel on the southern slopes of Constantia Berg that was opened in 1922.

Lunch at our local cozy restaurant in the village of Noordhoek.

From Noordhoek we proceed through Simon’s town to Boulders Beach.

Boulders Beach is home to a colony of African Penguin, previously known as the Jackass Penguin. The African Penguin is endemic to the Southern African coastline.

From Boulders Beach we travel the short distance to the village of Glencairn.

From Glencairn we walk up the mountain slopes to find the resident troop of wild Chacma Baboons where they are foraging on the mountain. Spend an hour’s guided walk between these amazing and often persecuted group of primates and observe their intimate social structure.

We now follow the False Bay coastline to the quaint fishing harbour of Kalk Bay

Explore the stylish stores or have a sun-downer (time permiting) at one of the unique cafés and pubs.

Dinner is served under the glorious old Oak trees on the oldest wine estate in South Africa

Enjoy a scrumptious meal prepared to the traditional recipes by your host. Enjoy some of the best South African wines available from the restaurant cellar..

21:00 We return to your hotel after your sumptuous, stimulating dinner. Tour ends.
