The natural beauty of Africa has endured through Colonization, Industrial development, Poverty and human degradation caused by ruling powers and dictatorships and, the natural cycles of extreme droughts and flooding. Through all of this, the people of Africa, the guardians of our natural resources, have adapted and survived, yet they managed to retain their rich cultural heritage.
Now you, the tourist, can support the people of Southern Africa by joining Africa's Child Safaris to travel the roads less traveled to meet these amazing people and experience first hand the age-old saying, “Smile and the whole world smiles with you
Objectives
It is our objective to bring people and communities together and thereby create links that can be of immense benefit to everybody over the long term.
- We will spread the “tourism $” as far as we possibly can so that more people and communities may benefit from your visit. We believe that too much of the tourism funds are in the hands of a few key operators who have their appointed agents and service providers. The tourism funds are therefore circulated in a very small, fixed geographical area and only a few people and communities derive any direct benefit from tourism. Some of these people benefit very handsomely in the process.
- Our itineraries include the wonderful, natural attractions of our region and we will incorporate community development programs in our adventure filled itineraries in order that you, the tourist, may play a more direct and critically important role, in the development of the people of Africa. Projects that we visit are sustainable and concentrate on education and healthcare .
- We will target communities in the more remote areas of our region in order that you may enjoy the rich tapestry of Africa, away from the normal crowded tourist routes.
It is our primary objective to create such a memorable holiday experience for you that you will feel compelled to return to Southern Africa.
